We are pleased to announce that the “What I Need” (WIN) After-School Program will officially begin Sunday September 14, 2025 from 2:20 pm till 2:50 pm.
This program is designed to provide targeted support and enrichment opportunities to help students achieve academic success and personal growth.
Our dedicated teachers have carefully identified students who would benefit most from this program and will be sending personalized invitations directly to their families.
If your child receives an invitation, it reflects our teachers’ belief that they would gain from this additional support.
If you would like to enroll your child in the WIN Program, even if you do not receive an official email, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to the subject teacher.
We are confident that the WIN Program will make a positive impact on your child’s learning journey, and we look forward to working closely with you to support their success.

Key Reminders for the First Day:
First Day of School Hours: On Sunday, August 31, school hours will be from 6:55 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. The regular bell schedule will be shared with you on the same day.
Mobile Phone Policy: ISME is a no mobile phone zone. Students bringing phones must turn them in upon arrival at the designated area in the Assembly Hall. Any phones not turned in and seen on campus during school hours will be confiscated in accordance with school policy.
Uniform Services: Uniform services will be available on campus from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Should there be any changes to these hours, we will notify you immediately.

- In consultation with the Executive Director, prepare the school’s annual budget and review and update as necessary.
- Monitor income and expenditure in relation to the school’s budget, and produce monthly reports for the Executive Director.
- Ensure that all school accounts are maintained, prepare income and expenditure reports and submit to the Executive Director
- Assist in the preparation for the annual audit, liaising with all parties involved.
- Maintain and oversee all bank accounts including the school’s debit card/s, completing monthly reconciliations and reporting banking errors to the Executive Director.
- Ensure that the school’s financial procedures manual is reviewed and updated as necessary.
- Shall be responsible for cash flow projections and all elements of cash handling including collections and disbursements, banking and security, fundraising and school trips.
- Ensure the completion of the school’s payroll, ensuring all forms including timesheets, new starter/ leaver/ variation forms and annual returns are submitted within required deadlines.
- Create the employment plan for the Executive Director.
- Direct the employee recruitment and hiring process
- Carry out and keep analyses of costs and other statistical information.
- Supervise the school’s computerized finance accounting package ensuring that required back-ups are carried out and kept securely.
- Maintain all school insurances in all forms including assessments, claims and administration.
- Manage the list of approved contractors and suppliers to ensure best value.
- Manage, negotiate and monitor all contracts, leases and relationships with external contractors.
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, review annually the school’s charging policy and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Responsible for the school’s asset register ensuring that it is maintained and regularly updated.
- In discussion with the Executive Director, establish contingency plans in case of emergencies including power cuts, flooding and fire.
- Establish and implement an effective damage and loss-prevention strategy to reduce insurance and overall costs to the budget as set by the board of trustees.
- Manage and overview other services such as catering and cleaning ensuring an efficient and effective provision, which meets the school’s needs and adheres to the State of Qatar’s regulations and legislation
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 3 years experience in finance field.
- Evidence of finance, business and administrative management experience to support the day-to-day operation of a school.
- Experience of managing expenditure and generating income/ sponsorship opportunities.
- Experience of managing change and implementing new systems/ procedures/controls.
- Assist the Head of School with a variety of projects and initiatives.
- Assist the Head of School in planning and conducting meetings with teachers, student, staff and community.
- Assist the Head of School with orientation, workshops, seminars and the coordination of special projects.
- Assist the teachers and staff with communicating to them all relevant school’s guidelines, policies and procedures and assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Composes, edits and prepares correspondence and reports related to the school as needed.
- Resolve and/or advise solutions for a variety of administrative situations or problems concerning the school.
- Handle confidential verbal and written information with appropriate discretion.
- Answers and screens calls.
- Addresses Head of School’s office concerns and resolves problems.
- Manages the Head of School’s schedule including interviews, meetings and presentations.
- Prepares agendas, materials and minutes for meetings; may edit speeches, presentations and reports for the Head of School.
- Makes travel arrangements for the Head of School and department staff.
- Processes registrations and claim forms.
- Processes membership dues for international and local organizations.
- Manages databases for mailings and/or organizational directories.
- Assists in scheduling facility setups, meetings, appointments and catering arrangements.
- Monitors developing trends and issues of assigned area and informs Head of School of impending issues that affect the school;
- Participates in Senior Administration meetings and other staff meetings and provide meeting minutes.
- May coordinate, prepare and edit statistical or other reports;
- May process and monitor confidential student and staff records;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 5 years of experience in an administrative position, or other type of position with direct relevance and equivalent responsibilities.
- Direct students to provide them with sources of vocational/technical, career, college, information and work.
- Maintain a library of catalogs, pamphlets and directories from colleges, technical schools and military academies. This information shall include forms, scholarship information, financial aid information, and occupational briefs.
- Provide newsletters and other information to parents/guardians and students that relate to testing dates, college visitation dates, deadlines for filing applications, presentations that are held for career speakers and dates of military recruiter visits.
- Direct students to appropriate Internet sites that will allow students to conduct their own interest inventories and secure information about an array of vocational, career and post high school experiences.
- Organize, interpret and administer interest and achievement testing for students.
- Organize and coordinate the College Fairs.
- Organize and coordinate individual visits from college representatives.
- Initiate contacts with professionals in the community and arrange for students to job shadow.
- Assist outside agencies visiting the school and speaking to groups of interested students. This shall include military, college and technical school representatives and representatives of careers available without post-secondary training.
- Maintain information on institutions that offer scholarships.
- Meet with students prior to and during the registration process, inform the students of classes relative to course selection and assist the administration in the registration and scheduling process.
- Meet with students individually or in groups to discuss credits, courses and entrance exams required by colleges and technical schools.
- Advise students regarding the accuracy and completeness of records and credits and perform periodic credit checks from grades 9 through 12 with an emphasis on the senior year.
- Communicate in writing and/or verbally to parents/guardians of senior students who are deficient in their credit status.
- Coordinate the standardized testing program at the high school and compile and disseminate test results to appropriate personnel, students and parents/guardians.
- Act as a referral agent in the regular education staffing by receiving referrals from staff, making contact with the student and possibly the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s) and conducting conferences to determine potential outcomes.
- Provide a link between students and appropriate community resources and outside agencies in Qatar, adolescent day treatment programs, hospital-based counseling programs and Qatar Protective Services.
- Assist students in alternative programs by receiving referrals from administrators, teachers, parents/guardians and students.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 3 years of experience in school student admissions, student recruitment, registration, and career advising
- Manage departmental planning and budgeting.
- Provide direction and guidance to subordinates in day-to-day operations of the school.
- Assist in creating policies and procedures and assures compliance.
- Develop and prepare recommendations to improve efficient operation of the school.
- Responsible for administration, coordination, development, and implementation of policies, procedures, systems, and department budgets.
- Assist in the development, negotiation, execution, and monitoring of vendor and various service contracts.
- Manage third-party contracts and staff, including custodial staff.
- Manage food services by coordinating with service provider and overseeing deliveries.
- Manage and maintain school IT Services and assets, and coordinating repair when necessary.
- Manage purchasing and procurement processes and procedures and maintain ongoing inventory.
- Assist in engaging with civil engineers, architects, and contractors to develop the required facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education and Higher Education regulations.
- Coordinate and provide leadership to the strategic planning process.
- Coordinate with the President, Vice President, CTLO and Director of Finance in the effective and efficient use of and planning for facilities.
- Ensure communication with teachers by working closely with the CTLO, Assistant Principals for Upper and Lower Schools and other heads of departments to promote a positive environment.

- Directs the development and evaluation of educational STEAM programs.
- Responsible for encouraging and support development of innovative instructional programs, helping teachers pilot such efforts when appropriate.
- Coordinate AP courses and programs with Assistant Principal.
- Promote the use of technology in the teaching/learning process.
- Participate in development of campus improvement plans with staff, parents, and community members.
- Develop, maintain, and use information systems to maintain and records to track progress on campus performance objectives and academic excellence indicators for STEAM programs and activities.
- Observe employee performance, record observations, and conduct evaluations of all teachers engaged in STEAM and program activities in all four tracks.
- Direct the development and integration of STEAM vertically and horizontally across the curriculum.
- Manage extracurricular academic activities and award programs.
- Assist Chief Teaching and Learning Officer in interviewing, selecting, and orienting new teachers and staff Plan daily school activities by participating in the development of class schedules, teacher assignments, and extracurricular activity schedules.
- Evaluate teacher’s performance in STEAM programs and activities and collaborate with the Chief Teaching and Learning Officer to determine teacher annual and probationary evaluations.
- Work with teachers to compile annual budget requests based on documented program needs.
- Determine textbooks, materials, software, and equipment for STEAM programs.
- Assist with safety inspections and safety-drill practice activities.
- Coordinate transportation and other support services for internships and partnerships.
- Comply with State of Qatar laws and Board of Trustees policy.
- Ensure that students are adequately supervised during non-instructional periods for STEAM programs.
- Ensure school rules are uniformly observed, and that student discipline is appropriate/equitable.
- Conduct conferences on student and school issues with parents, students, and teachers for STEAM programs.
- Assist the Chief Teaching and Learning Officer in professional development to improve skills related to job assignment for teachers and staff.
- Articulate the school’s mission to community and solicit its support in realizing mission.
- Demonstrate awareness of school-community needs and initiate activities to meet those needs.
- Use appropriate and effective techniques to encourage community and parent involvement.
- Meet with the Senior Academic Team periodically throughout the year.
- Provide input on agendas for meetings; prepare/present proposals and programs for changes/improvements as appropriate, and work with the Academic Team.
- Ensure and monitor STEAM integration into all subject area courses and units for all lower and upper school grade levels.
- Serve as a resource/mentor for new teachers by giving advice and support, especially in regard to the school philosophy and curriculum.
- Responsible that Unit Plans and documentation are comprehensive, accurate and follow procedures for the integrated STEAM programs.
- Responsible for ensuring that teachers are collaborating and monitor program progress.
- Provide the necessary information, encouragement and support for team development in terms of fulfilling program requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring that all faculty follow the agreed syllabus/specification for STEAM programs.
- Responsible for coordinating with the Assistant Principals to ensure that teachers are entering data onto Renweb and allied school systems.
- Responsible for ensuring substitutes are available as needed and assign and supervise substitute teachers for STEAM programs.
