Ruaa Ismail
Health Sciences Track Teacher

Meet Ms. Ruaa Ismail, our Health Science teacher, biomedical scientist, and firm believer that science is best learned by doing.

With a background in Biomedical Sciences, Ms. Ruaa brings healthcare to life through experiments, simulations, patient scenarios, and hands-on challenges. Her goal is to get students thinking like future healthcare professionals, and not base their knowledge on memorization.

Her classroom philosophy is If students can investigate it, experiment with it, or solve it, they probably shouldn’t just be reading about it.

Aya Rashed
AP Calculus/AP Pre-Calculus/ Engineering Teacher

Ms. Aya Rashed is an Electrical Engineer and educator who believes the best classrooms are where students are thinking, building, and testing. She brings Mathematics and Engineering to life through real-world challenges, hands-on projects, and creative problem-solving. Whether students are tackling a difficult calculus concept or designing something from scratch, she encourages them to experiment, ask questions, learn from mistakes, and try again.

For Ms. Aya, learning is not just about finding the right answer, but understanding the process, thinking differently, and having the confidence to explore new ideas.
