Qatar National Day

Each year, Qatar National Day brings us together in celebration of our nation’s rich history, cultural heritage, and remarkable journey of unity and progress. This year’s theme, “With You It Rises, From You It Awaits,” highlights the vital role of every individual in shaping Qatar’s present and future, and reflects the shared responsibility and pride that unite us as a community.

In this spirit, we are pleased to announce that our Qatar National Day Celebrations will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, on our campus.

Please note that regular classes will be held throughout the day, and attendance will be taken as usual.

This special event will include a variety of engaging activities, such as:

  • Student Performances
  • Henna Station
  • Traditional Qatari Food
  • There will also be a selection of vendors on campus offering food and refreshments for students to purchase.

Students are encouraged to wear traditional Qatari attire, while ensuring they continue to adhere to the school’s uniform policy.

We look forward to a memorable day filled with cultural pride, engaging activities, and a strong sense of unity.

International Day – November 13, 2025

We are excited to announce our upcoming International Day Celebration, which will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 10:35 AM to 1:20 PM at our school campus.

    This vibrant event celebrates the diversity and cultural richness of our ISME community through:
  • Booths representing countries from around the world.
  • A variety of exciting activities and food options.
    Please note the following important guidelines for this year’s celebration:
  • Students are encouraged to come dressed in their traditional or cultural attire to proudly represent their heritage and bring their country’s flags to participate in the Parade.
  • Students are not allowed to bring shared food for safety reasons. Any food brought to school must be individually packed, otherwise it will not be served during the event.
  • We will have food vendors available on campus, so students are encouraged to bring money if they wish to purchase food or participate in certain activities.

We look forward to a wonderful day filled with learning, celebration, and cultural pride!

Online Learning Day – Tuesday, November 4, 2025

In accordance with Circular No. (16) of 2025 issued by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, which is attached to this email, the Ministry has designated Tuesday, November 4, 2025, as an online learning day. Accordingly, no academic or administrative staff will be present on campus on that day.

    The following procedures will apply:
  • The regular bell schedule will be followed.
  • Classes will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
  • The regular attendance policy will be applied. Tardies and absences will be recorded according to school policy.
  • Please ensure your child is ready for online learning by having:
    • A device connected to a stable internet connection
    • A quiet learning space
  • All students must wear the school uniform during the virtual sessions.
  • After-school extracurricular activities will not take place on this day. A make-up session will be scheduled later as needed.

Finally, teachers will share further details and reminders regarding online learning arrangements and related guidelines with students during class.

Midterm Break

As we conclude cycle 1, our students deserve a much-needed break to rejuvenate and be ready for Cycle 2.

This email is to notify you that as per the school calendar, the midterm break will start on Sunday, October 26, 2025, to Thursday, October 30, 2025, for students, staff, and faculty.

We will resume regular school hours on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Pink Day

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.

Your actions have the power to show every woman that her life matters.

ISME Health Club is organizing a Pink Day on this occasion on Thursday October 16, 2025 ; students can come to school wearing a pink shirt to show support for the fighters and survivors and to celebrate hope.

Students should wear their school pants and abide to the non-uniform day guidelines.

Cycle 1 Exams

As we approach the end of the first academic cycle, students are now preparing for their Cycle 1 Tests, which will begin on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

Cycle 1 Test Schedule

    Important Notes:
  • Grades 5 and 6: will not have cycle tests. Instead, they will attend English and Math classes on and will be dismissed at 9:15 on Sunday and at 8:00 am from Monday till Thursday.
  • Grades 7–12: Students will leave school immediately after completing their exam each day.
  • AP Students: The AP exams will last for two hours, and students will finish at 10:00 a.m.
    Reminders for All Students:
  • All students must wear the full school uniform. Students not in full uniform will not be allowed to enter the test room.
  • Late arrivals will not receive extra time.
  • Make-up tests will only be granted upon submission of a valid medical certificate.
  • Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones, smart watches, or school bags into the exam room.
  • Students may only bring a pencil case, calculator, and water bottle.
