We are excited to announce that the Student Council will be hosting a Garangao Candy Gram event for all students.
Garangao is a tradition in Qatar and the Gulf region, celebrated on the 14th night of Ramadan. On this special night, children dress in traditional clothing, roam their neighborhoods singing traditional songs, and receive goody bags filled with sweets.
To honor this tradition, our school will celebrate Garangao on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Students are encouraged to wear traditional Qatari attire, in accordance with the school’s non-uniform day policy (attached).
Students can also take part by offering a Candy Gram goody bag to their teachers and friends. Each bag costs QAR 10.
