The IT Support Engineer (ITSE) monitors and maintains the computer systems and networks of an organization. The ITSE may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and
software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.
Depending on the size of the organization, ITSE’s role may span one or more areas of expertise.
Organizations increasingly rely on computer systems in all areas of their operations and decision making processes. Therefore it is crucial to ensure the correct running and maintenance of the IT
systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and update school IT policies and procedures to maintain state of the arc processes
and practices.
Monitor and maintain the school IT Infrastructure.
Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications (Desktops,
Laptops & Servers).
Monitoring and maintain data systems and networks.
Monitor and enable school telecommunication networks and systems (eg.Ooredoo)
Technical support school users through a series of actions, to help set up systems or resolve
issues.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose, and solve hardware or software faults.
Replacing parts as required.
Provide daily support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Support the rollout of new applications.
Prioritize and manage open cases effectively (Technical).
Test and evaluate new technologies to meet school requirements (Technical)
Provide recommendations to improve the organization’s IT systems.
Monitor the Internet and email usage of school users.
Install, configure & troubleshoot Promethean Boards and guide/teach the users through its
features and usage.
Support development of IT plans and strategic goals.
Install/Configure “Microsoft Classroom” to meet the requirements suggested by school IT
Committee.
Prepare all IT support for school activities like (Debates, Assembly Hall Presentations,
Auditorium Presentations, Conferences… etc.) and support the activities with required IT
tools.
Update the school SMS System and communicating with parents by sending announcements
and notifications (Using the SMS System).
Check & patch required Microsoft updates on all school desktops and staff laptops.
Install required Microsoft Office applications and configuring their updates.
Manage “Shutting Down” procedures in case of emergencies (Like Electricity Shutdown).
Assist in installing required applications on school’s tablets based on education and teachers’
requirements.
Install and Deploy Symantec End Point Protection.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT services.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in K-12 IT support. (preferred)
The Assistant Principal is responsible for assisting the Chief Teaching and Learning Officer in the overall administration of instructional programs including classroom management, program plan, curriculum and assessment, faculty development, student discipline and attendance. The Assistant Principal shall be responsible for the overall supervision and evaluation of the teaching and learning affairs as well as student activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in development and evaluation of educational programs
Encourage and support development of innovative instructional programs, helping teachers pilot such efforts when appropriate
Promote the use of technology in the teaching/learning process
Help develop campus improvement plans with staff, parents, and community members
Assist the Chief Teaching and Learning Officer develop, maintain, and use information systems to track progress on campus performance objectives and academic excellence indicators
Observe employee performance, record observations, and conducts evaluations of all teachers
Assist the Chief Teaching and Learning Officer in interviewing, selecting, and orienting new teachers and staff
Plan daily school activities by participating in the development of class schedules, teacher assignments, and extracurricular activity schedules
Supervise reporting and monitoring of student attendance
Work with teachers to compile annual budget requests based on documented program needs
Requisition supplies, textbooks, and equipment; check inventory; maintain records; and verify receipts for materials
Assist with safety inspections and safety-drill practice activities
Coordinate transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other support services
Comply with State of Qatar laws, Board of Trustees policy, and school procedures
Ensure that students are adequately supervised during non-instructional periods
Ensure that school rules are uniformly observed and that student discipline is appropriate and equitable
Conduct conferences on student and school issues with parents, students, and teachers
Participate in professional development to improve skills related to job assignment
Articulate the school’s mission to community and solicit its support in realizing mission
Demonstrate awareness of school-community needs and initiate activities to meet those needs
Use appropriate and effective techniques to encourage community and parent involvement
Meet with the Senior Academic Team periodically throughout the year
Provide input on agendas for meetings; prepare and present proposals and programs for changes/improvements as appropriate, and work as a team with other principal as well as the Senior Management Team
Ensure and monitor technology integration into all subject area courses and units for all upper school grade levels
Serve as a resource/mentor for new teachers by giving advice and support, especially in regard to the school philosophy and curriculum
Check that unit plans and ancillary documentation are comprehensive, accurate, and follow procedures
Ensure that teachers are collaborating and monitor program progress
Provide the necessary information, encouragement and support for team development in terms of fulfilling program requirements
Ensure that all faculty follow the agreed syllabus/specification
Ensure that teachers are entering data onto Renweb and allied school systems
Ensure that unit plans and records are alignment with the curriculum throughout all disciplines
Ensure the availability of substitutes as needed and supervise substitute teachers.
Organize the annual Student Council election
Develop student leadership and communication skills and ensure that student leaders understand the Parliamentary procedures
Coordinate the high school course selection process and manage online courses.
In collaboration with the school academic counselor, ensure the facilitation of college fair visits and guest speakers
Assist with college applications as required
Assist with schedules for students
Organize Hamad Rotation with the help of grade 11 & 12 team leader
Organize and monitor the volunteering program
Work with team leaders to coordinate field trips for students
Plan and coordinate special assemblies for students
Organize testing schedules
Assist in organizing school events including parent/teacher conferences
Monitor homeroom programs
Organize and lead the graduation committee for the 12th grade
Prepare and send students/parents surveys at least twice per year
The social worker is responsible for developing and implementing school counselling programs that will enhance students’ performance and success. He/she is in charge of ensuring the overall emotional, psychological and social growth of the students. The counselor shall be in charge of recommending and providing services, support and guidance to students with learning and special needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor students to identify those with social problems, low self-esteem or learning disabilities.
Implement programs for students with special needs or learning disabilities. Mentor, counsel and support students with special needs, learning needs and behavioral issues as appropriate.
Conduct student assessments and interpret cognitive, aptitude and achievement tests for students.
Plan and organize classroom counseling sessions to address career, academic, and personal development issues among students.
Help resolve students conflicts and outline possible remedial strategies.
Monitor and investigate bullying incidences and provide appropriate support to students.
Organize seminars to educate students/parents on sensitive topics such as peer pressure and bullying.
Undertake investigations into reported misbehavior/incidents and implement sanctions according to ISME’s disciplinary policy.
Support the re-integration of students upon return to school from suspensions.
Provide counseling to students who are tardy, late or have disciplinary problems.
Analyze GPA in relation to student achievements and provide advise as needed.
Set up a Student Mentoring Program.
Consult with students, teachers and parents to identify developmental needs and design prevention or intervention activities in order to guide students on a healthy path toward adulthood and university.
Develop and implement an Early Alert Program and regularly communicate with teachers to ensure students’ academic, social and psychological needs are met.

Develop resource materials and programs relating to student discipline for teachers’ reference and use.
Provide workshops and training to teachers and staff on matters related to dealing with students with special needs as well as students with behavioral, social and psychological problems.

Provide a link between students and appropriate community resources and outside agencies in Qatar, adolescent day treatment programs, hospital-based counseling programs and Qatar Protective Services.
In collaboration with parents, refer students to outside agencies/hospitals within Qatar when needed.
Develop positive relationships with parents, liaising with parents regarding disciplinary /health/social/psychological issues.
Attend professional meetings and seminars to keep abreast of the recent development in the subject.
Maintain accurate student records and confidentiality.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field from an accredited college/university.

To submit and ensure the processing of all types of applications and paperwork to the local government bodies, including but not limited to visit visas, employment or residence visas, car registrations, Trade License, labor permits, etc.
To proactively manage the timely renewal of all Employment Visas and Labor Permits.
Assist employees in renewing visas for their immediate dependents.
Assist all sponsored staff and their dependents in the medical check process.
Send employees a notification on documentation required prior to their visa/labor card expiring.
Manage the visa checklist as when the rules on visa/labor changes
Assist the employees with visa arrangements.
Maintain database of all passports and residence visas by scanning all documents and directly updating the database when details change.
Qualifications:
